Taylor Polynomials

Enter a function f that you want to approximate. Adjust the center to an x-value that you want the approximation centered about. Adjust the n slider to increase the degree of the Taylor polynomial. Adjust the a slider to see the difference between f and T for particular values of a. Note the interval over which T appears to be a good approximation of f. To change the viewing window, hold the shift button and left-click to drag the graph or use the scroll wheel to zoom in/out. You can also adjust the axes by holding the shift button and left-click on the axis you want to change.
