Solid of Revolution about x-axis

Enter functions f(x) and g(x) to see a visual of the washer method when rotated about the x-axis. If you want to use discs, enter 0 for the second function. Adjust the sliders to choose an interval [a,b]. Use the angle slider to rotate the region and the cross-section slider to see cross-sections of your solid at different points in the interval.
To change the viewing window, hold the shift button and left-click to drag the graph or use the scroll wheel to zoom in/out. You can also adjust the axes by holding the shift button and left-click on the axis you want to change.
