Area Function (FTC)

Enter a function and adjust the position of the point x to see an approximation of the area function. This illustrates how the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus describes the definite integral as an "area so-far" function. Note how the definite integral interprets "signed" area.
To change the viewing window, hold the shift button and left-click to drag the graph or use the scroll wheel to zoom in/out. You can also adjust the axes by holding the shift button and left-click on the axis you want to change.
